Assignments

Problem statements for the assignments in CSCI 5828 can be accessed via the list of links above or the pop-up menu in the navigation bar above.

Submission Guidelines

Assignments will be submitted via the moodle and will vary via format:

  • For assignments consisting of only a single document, you may upload either a .txt or a .pdf version of the document to the moodle.
  • For assignments consisting of multiple documents, you may upload a .zip or a .tar.gz archive consisting of multiple .txt and .pdf files organized logically into directories. Make sure that when the archive is expanded, it creates a single directory containing all other directories and documents. Do NOT send us an archive that dumps a bunch of documents into the current directory. That is annoying and you do not want to annoy the person who is grading your assignment!

When creating the document that you upload to the moodle, please adopt the following naming conventions:

Name of Document: <LASTNAME>_<ASSIGNMENT_TYPE><NUMBER_IF_NEEDED>.<SUFFIX>
Examples: Anderson_HW01.pdf or Smith_Presentation.zip

If you did the assignment in a group, then please include the last names of all the team members in the file name.

Examples Anderson_Palen_HW01.pdf
