Hello, I am a staff member and instructor for the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado.

I am in charge of the a good portion of faculty and all of staff computing in the department. I work with Orrie at Unixops for support of the main faculty server and maintain the department's mail, dns, and webserver machines on my own. Mark Dehus is my counterpart in the Computer Science Educational Labs (CSEL). The CSEL is the department's student Linux lab.
I teach CSCI 4113 - Unix System Administration, a course covering the basics for running a Linux server on the web. The link is to the current Spring 2009 course, which is in whatever state you may find it. And here are the links to the old pages: Spring 2006, Spring 2007, and Spring 2008.
I'm currently a grad student in Computer Science going for my masters degree, I sing and compose music in my spare time, enjoy riding my motorcycle (when it's not broken and in the shop), like to scheme my next travel plans with my family or friends, practice yoga (but not like that guy), host people on couchsurfing, or play with useless things on the internet.
If you'd like to get a hold of me by email, please use this page to look it up.
As boring as this page is, it's actually valid xhtml 1.0. But if you don't like it, you can be beaten to death BY a baby seal wielding a large rucksack full of Zestfully Clean Zest Soap. Click the iconified link for super cool validation awesomeness!
