The PDA Usability project compared how people in
different age groups and health (healthy vs. chronically ill) could
complete traditional (pressing buttons, viewing icons, recording voice
messages) and non-traditional PDA tasks (scanning bar codes).

Aided in the design and development of a proof of concept for a
multi-agent health care sensor system with database connectivity and
intelligent reasoning ability for the Embedded Reasoning
Institute at Sandia National Laboratories/CA. Responsible for
creating sensor device drivers in C, running Point to Point Protocol
over wireless modems, and ensuring all of the software interfaced
together properly.
