GEEN 1400 is a three-credit hour course offered to engineering students through the Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory in the College of Engineering at CU Boulder.


The purpose of this course is to provide students with an introduction to engineering through a series of projects done in interdisciplinary teams. Students will learn in a hands-on way valuable engineering skills including communication skills, how to function in teams, and a variety of computer tools as appropriate to team projects.


In this section of GEEN 1400, students have the opportunity to work on meaningful games that can improve the health of various populations. Examples of games for health include, but are not limited to, ideas about Games to Motivate Healthy Living and exertion interfaces.
