Joseph's Whole Wheat Honey Buns 1 C Warm Water 2 T Yeast 1/2 Stick Butter 1/3 C Honey 1/2 C Warm Water 3 eggs 2 1/2 C whole wheat flour 1 1/2 multi-purpose flower Combine yeast and 1 C water in small bowl. Set aside. Mix butter and honey in small saucepan over low heat (make sure it is low so honey does not become too sugary). Mix very thoroughly (almost whipping). Mix eggs, honey/butter mixture and 1/2 C water in large bowl. Add yeast, mix again. Add wheat flour, then multi-purpose flour to consistency. Let rise. Bake 15 minutes at 350 or 12 minutes at 400 (for harder crust). Yiel: 15-20 medium rolls.
