Grandma Moor's Springles 325 degrees for 10 minutes (until tops lightly browned) 6 eggs 1 pound verifine sugar 6 C sifted flour 2 t baking powder 1.5 T anise seeds .5 t anise oil 1. Beat eggs in bowl until very light; stir in sugar, beat until thoroughly blended. 2. Measure flour and baking powder into sifter; sift over mixture adding about .25 at a time and blending well after each addition (Dough will be very stiff) 3. Cover bowl - chill 3-4 hours. 4. Roll out - .25" thick cut cookies, sprinkle with anise seeds. Place on greased cookie sheet. 5. Let cookies sit overnight. 6. Cool-store in airtight containers at least 2 weeks (40 cookies).
