Eye Round Roast Okay...eye round roast can be cooked in a oven at 425. Usually I get a three pound roast and we have left overs for two. It takes 25 minutes per pound, that's for medium/rare. So, a three pound eye round roast would take 1 hour and fifteen minutes. When there is 30minutes left you put the yorkshire pudding in to cook with it. Look in Betty Crocker book for more info... Put salt, pepper, and garlic salt (anything else you want to) on the meat. Betty Crocker says how long you let it bake in the oven until you put some water in with it.
