Katie's Broiled Asparagus Asparagus (The thinner the better) Olive Oil Salt Pepper Lemon Juice Set oven to 350-400 on Broil. Put aluminum foil over a jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with edges) Clean Asparagus, break off tough part of asparagus (if you bend asparagus, they will naturally break at the tough part). On a ***cutting board*** (not jelly roll pan or you may have a grease fire in the oven), sprinkle olive oil on the asparagus. Make sure the asparagus have olive oil all over (especially on the heads) so they don't burn. Put asparagus on jelly roll pan, sprinkle salt, pepper, and lemon juice on asparagus. Put in oven. Turn asparagus every so often so they cook on all sides. When the asparagus are nice and wrinkly, they are done. Serve immediately. These go great with burgers :) Especially burgers with provolone and carmelized onions.
