6:10 PM

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Two weeks after spring break, I will be in Florida attending the CHI 2003 conference. As such, I will have to pre-tape Lectures 23 and 24 (the design pattern lectures). I will be taping Lecture 23 on Monday, March 31st, at 8:30 AM in room 1B12. I will be taping Lecture 24 on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 11 AM in 1B28. If you can make it to these "outside normal hours" sessions, then please do. Otherwise, you can see the lectures when they normally would have been held, since CATECS will simply play the tapes to students who show up on April 8th and April 10th. CATECS students will continue to receive their tapes as normal, in the normal order. Let me know if you have any questions.

The highest score was 140. The most common score (the mode) was 124 points. The median was 124. Finally, the standard deviation was 14 points.

A place holder page for the "Lectures" link is now in place. The first and second lecture will be posted to this website by Monday, January 13th.

4:24 PM

The "Related Materials" link now works as well as the "Schedule" link. Quick note about the schecule: The current schedule is based on the set of topics and assignments that I used in the Spring 2002 version of this class. I reserve the right to slightly change the topics covered; the main change will come after the midterm when discussing OO design, since I was unhappy with Maciaszek's treatment of that topic. He does a great job with analysis, however!
