Course Bibliography for CSCI 6448, Spring Semester 2003

The textbook for the course is Leszek A. Maciaszek's Requirements Analysis and System Design: Developing Information Systems with UML. I like this book because it has an excellent introduction to OO concepts and OO analysis.

The second textbook is "The Unified Modeling Langauge User Guide" by Grady Booch, James Rumbaugh, and Ivar Jacobson. No explicit readings will be assigned from this book. Instead, it should be used as a reference manual throughout the semester for any questions you have on the UML. (You can, of course, ask your questions in class too!)
