Our plan is to extend the Jakarta Commons-Pipeline concurrency framework to provide automatic thread pool balancing using benchmarking information obtained from the JVM Tool Interface (JVMTI). The results of this work will become a part of the public Commons-Pipeline package, including all of the related documentation of the current functionality and the new extensions
