A postdoctoral researcher position to develop novel combinatorial and graph algorithms for molecular biology is currently available at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the group of Prof. Debra Goldberg.

Possible research areas include:

Gene and protein networks: integrating diverse data, evolution, or incorporating measures of network topology to predict protein function.

Comparative genomics: comparative mapping, syntenic relationships, ortholog prediction, or genome rearrangement.

Requirements:

PhD in computer science or related field, strong background in algorithm design, graph theory, and molecular biology.
