Sarah Vieweg investigates the use of online forums in disaster and crises, with an eye to how people converge, assert identities, and gather and distribute information and participate in sensemaking activities.  Sarah has an MA in Linguistics, and brings ethnomethodological and discursive methods to her research and analysis.
