C Language Scientific Graphic Library for Maps and Contours
Senior Project: 1988-1989
Timothy Bell, Shawn McLaughlin and Sara Swanson
NCAR Graphics is a set of FORTRAN subroutine libraries for the production of
scientific graphics. It includes packages for producing maps, and overlaying
them with contour lines, stream lines, and velocity vectors. The original
version was written in FORTRAN and intended for use primarily in a
batch-oriented environment. This project was a redesign of the mapping and
contouring packages for use in a graphics workstation environment, and an
implementation of the resulting design in the C programming language.
