Satellite Arsenal Management Simulation and Analysis Tool
Senior Project: 1987-1988
Scott Bollig, Brian Bucknam, Allan Leinwand and Mark Zimmerman
This project was a prototype of a system that would allow for the simulation of
a set of satellites with various viewing capabilities as they orbit the earth.
A graphical interface allowed for the control of the simulation (creation of
satellites with various attributes, starting and stopping the simulation,
placement of objects on the surface of the earth), the display of the orbiting
satellites and the surface of the earth being viewed during the simulation, and
the gathering of simulation data for later analysis. This system was written in
a C/UNIX environment on Sun workstations using the X10.4 Window System.
