E-Commerce Order Fulfillment System

The goal of this project was to develop a customized web-based online order and
management system for electronic content. The system integrates a customer
database, order database, registration database, and product database,
providing a web-based front end for customer order placement, as well as a
web-based back end for maintenance and internal use.
The customer front end provides a secure product selection and order entry
system, along with secure credit card verification and transaction processing,
specifically addressing issues of fraud detection and prevention. The internal
back end supports manual entry of orders and produces a variety of customer-
and product-based reports. In addition, it has an integrated email utility
that can email customers meeting flexible selection criteria messages such as
upgrade and announcement information. The system was implemented primarily in
HTML/ASP.
