Senior Project - RADWeb

Avaya designs, builds, deploys and manages communication networks for enterprises. Avaya's Converged Systems Division (CSD) is a research and development organization of approximately seven hundred employees that develops integrated hardware/software solutions for telephony and data networking. CSD maintains numerous unconnected and disorganized R&D project websites, each with varying levels of functionality and security that needed to be "pulled together" into a consistent, secure interface. These websites are on Avaya's intranet, meaning that they are only for internal use and not accessible outside Avaya.

The goal of this project was to create a centralized web portal that connects, organizes and secures the existing sites, to redesign the core set of R&D web pages, and to provide a news posting mechanism accessible from the portal. The portal interface presents personalized content to CSD users, while providing an interface for system administrators that will allow easy updating of content and user accounts. The system was implemented in PHP.
