Amadeus Consulting is a software development firm based in Boulder, Colorado.
Recently, Amadeus has been using the
Salesforce.com cloud computing
infrastructure to handle their customer relationship and workflow management
needs. This project was aimed at extending the existing Salesforce.com reporting
and workflow management systems to better meet Amadeus Consulting's
requirements, and to research Salesforce.com as a software development
environment for the future.
The system effectively implements reporting across multiple database types and
automates project management. These features promise to be major time-savers
for Amadeus Consulting. The system was implemented using Salesforce.com's
proprietary object-oriented development language,
Apex,
and their GUI markup language,
Visualforce.
