Senior Project - M.U.L.E.

Alpha Colony: A Multi-Player Turn-Based Strategy Game

Senior Project: 1998-1999
Joshua Hogrewe, Young Hong, Brent Meriwether, Scott Nusz and Marc Pickett
Louisville, CO

M.U.L.E. was an immensely popular game on the Atari, Commodore, and Nintendo platforms in early 1980s. The game was a fun combination of economics, strategy, and action which encouraged family and friends to play together. Up to four players could play simultaneously in an effort to colonize a planet and build structures, manipulate economies, and find hidden treasure. The project involved the object-oriented design and implementation of a game engine for a sequel to M.U.L.E. The project was developed in C++.
