Engineering Graphics System to Printed Circuit Design System Auto-Router Link
Senior Project: 1987-1988

Hewlett-Packard has two products used by the printed circuit board industry --
the Engineering Graphics System (EGS) and the Printed Circuit Board Design
System (PCDS). While the PCDS has the capability of automatic routing of board
traces, the EGS does not. This project, written in Pascal, provided an
easy-to-use interface which allows a user of the EGS to have printed circuit
boards routed by the PCDS Auto-Router. This involved extracting the appropriate
information from an EGS file, transferring it to the Auto-Router, transferring
the results back to EGS, and incorporating the results into the EGS file
automatically.
