Windows Port for the GNU Flash Player
Senior Project: 2010-2011
John Foley, Justin Lee and Patrick Mitchell
GNU Gnash is the GNU movie player for Flash, an animation file format pioneered
by Macromedia and which continues to be supported by their successor company,
Adobe. Gnash is currently hard to use for non-guru users and on certain
platforms, forcing the typical user to instead use a proprietary Flash player.
The goal of Gneo was to make Gnash more accessible to the average PC user by
creating a cross-platform port for 32-bit Windows, along with a corresponding
user-friendly installer.
