CUESoft is a small multimedia development firm, specializing in multimedia
marketing products and computer-based training systems. Its flagship product is
a multimedia authoring system for the Microsoft Windows environment, called
Vasari. As SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language) is widely
becoming the predominant method for document markup, its integration into
Vasari has become a necessary component in maintaining a competitive
advantage. This project involved the creation of a set of library routines and
external programs that allow a developer to easily and quickly develop an SGML
viewer, a program which reads an SGML document and sends it to the screen or
printer in a meaningful way. The software was developed as a set of Windows
Dynamically Linked Libraries using an object-oriented approach in C++.
