Menuet/CX Card Game Pack

Senior Project: 1994-1995
Manuel Neyra, Brian Skrenta, Vincent Tran and David Tyler
Boulder, CO

Autumn Hill Software, Inc. provides graphics development tools to the professional programmer for the DOS, MS-Windows, and OS/2 operating systems. One of these tools, Menuet/CX, is a multi-platform object-oriented C++-based interface which provides a single API for multiple operating and windowing systems. Menuet/CX has one of the most extensive graphics libraries of any cross platform API. The goal of this project was to create an application that would provide a graphical user interface for playing several card games. In addition to being able to play the games intelligently with a human user, the application was required to demonstrate some of the graphics capabilities of Menuet/CX via animated card movement. The games of Hearts and Poker were developed using an object-oriented approach with C++.
