The Computer Science Peer Advising Program is intended to
provide students with another source of information regarding academic
scheduling and planning. Students can ask Peer Advisors questions that fellow
students are best equipped to answer, in addition to anything they might ask an
Academic Advisor -- from getting
a student perspective about scheduling conflicts and course loads to questions
about degree requirements. Peer Advisors are also a good source of information
about the various events and organizations within the Computer Science
Department.
Peer Advisors are not intended to replace the staff and faculty advising
system, but rather to complement it. Sometimes a question is still best
answered by a staff or faculty member. A Peer Advisor can help contact
the right person.
