A major aspect of the Computer Science Department website is the information
it provides about people: faculty, staff, students, instructors, speakers,
technical report authors and alumni, for instance. The site currently contains
references to more than 5,400
different people, with most people being referenced multiple times.
While search mechanisms are of course quite useful, this cross reference list,
organized by last name, makes it easy to find all of the references to any
particular person on the site. This cross reference also provides convenient
access to each individual's home page and email address when those are known.
