The Department maintains a number of mail lists, some restricted to internal
membership and use and some accessible to anyone who wants to join.
Departmental Mail Lists
Departmental mail lists are primarily used for internal communication.
These include lists for faculty, staff, administrators, students and alumni.
Membership in these lists is automatic based on departmental records, and
posting to these lists is restricted to appropriate senders and messages.

Public Mail Lists
Membership in the following mail lists is open to all interested parties.
Anyone may subscribe/unsubscribe to these lists as they like.
However, posting to these lists is restricted to appropriate senders and
messages; inappropriate messages silently disappear.
