Knowledge Services is a Sun business initiative. Sun Knowledge Services is not a new business or a single business. Rather, it is a portfolio of knowledge products that have been brought together and are now organized by an underlying total knowledge system.

The Knowledge Services Strategy and Innovation team facilitates the formulation and implementation of strategy for Knowledge Services. Part of the team charter is to manage a disciplined pipeline of creative innovation potential looking one to three years into the future. The purpose of this "innovation pipeline" is to ensure that Sun Knowledge Services can constantly harvest new vibrant technologies, designs, business models, and processes which can be added to our products and services.

In this presentation, I will provide an overview of Sun Knowledge Services, the Knowledge Services Strategy and Innovation team, and ideas on exploring collaborative university/industry research.
