Internet content has grown increasingly sophisticated since the days of static HTML documents and GIF images. Today, dynamic HTML, streaming media, and application servers add to the growing set of content types. While this increasingly rich content set is enhancing our Internet experience and utilization, it is creating increasingly complex problems in managing content distribution and delivery.
In this talk, we examine how content is shaping the new architecture of Internet content delivery and how problems with streaming media, multicast, digital rights management, and quality of service are being addressed.
