Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) will be shipping Mac OS X on March 24th. As a senior at CU in Electrical and Computer Engineering 12 years ago when NeXT and Steve Jobs first shipped product, it's truly a unique and exciting time to be in Computer Science, with the release of a number of technologies that had their start years ago with Steve Jobs at NeXT: first and foremost, Mac OS X, but also including Cocoa, WebObjects, EOF, Objective-C / Java bridging, and in general, great enabling tools for computer scientists. For more information on Apple, visit their web site at www.apple.com.

Refreshments will be served immediately following the presentation.
