The many interests of our faculty ensure a wide selection of courses and
research possibilities for our students.
The
Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering
and the Institute of Cognitive Science
also offer courses that are of interest to our students, and several of our
faculty collaborate with members of these organizations.
The administration of the University of Colorado recognizes the importance of
computing in today's world and is aggressively pursuing resources in the form
of faculty positions, space, and other initiatives. We hired five new faculty
recently and will continue to hire additional faculty in the years to come. All
this translates into an increasing selection of courses and research areas for
our students.
