We have a strong faculty and capable group of graduate students. The MS and
PhD programs involve a strong grounding in the basic areas of Computer
Science and offer considerable flexibility to the student in choosing areas
of study.
Currently, the main areas of specialization here are artificial intelligence,
databases, numerical analysis, operating systems, parallel computation,
programming languages, software engineering, and theory of computing.
A number of research and teaching assistantships are available and quite a few
of our students have computer-related jobs in the many technical and research
institutions in the Boulder area.
