Confessions about Time and Stress
Chair, Department of Computer Science, University of Colorado
A lot of what I've learned about handling time and stress has come from
confessions. You probably know what I mean: we're talking with a colleague and
he or she admits to doing something, something unexpected and maybe even
suspect at first, that really gets us thinking. "Can it be true that Pat
actually does so-and-so?" and then, "If they do, then I can do it too."
Confessions have opened up new possibilities for me, and they have a logic in
them that has helped me think about what we all do. I'll share some of these
thoughts in this talk.
Refreshments will be served immediately following the talk in ECOT 831.
