Senior Instructor Bruce Sanders
has been selected to receive a Faculty Award from the IBM Corporation.
IBM faculty awards foster collaboration between researchers at leading
universities worldwide and those in IBM research, development and services
organizations; and to promote courseware and curriculum development to
stimulate growth in disciplines and geographies that are strategic to IBM
and the world.
Bruce, whose primary responsibility in the department is direction of the
Senior Software Engineering Project capstone course for our undergraduate
majors, was recognized for the many IBM-supported Senior Projects that he has
directed. Funds provided by the award will be used for software,
hardware, instructional and other resources to support future Senior Project
activities.
