The Debate Team at the University of Colorado recently won a national
championship at the National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence (NPTE).
The four members of the team,
Computer Science Senior Daniel Dexter,
Than Hedman,
Dara Miller, and
William Van Treuren,
along with their coaches
Nathan Jeffries and
Scott Weaver
are all very proud of the accomplishment.
Although Dan and Nathan are leaving, the team hopes to continue its success
in 2011.
The NPTE is the final and most prestigious debate tournament of the season.
Only the top teams from across the nation are invited and the competition is
strong.
