 Eisenberg and Ehrenfeucht
Professor Andrzej Ehrenfeucht
was announced as a winner of the 2005
Boulder Faculty Assembly
Award for Excellence in Research, Scholarly and Creative Work
for his groundbreaking interdisciplinary work in computer science, mathematics,
biology, education, and the intersections among all of those fields.
The award, in the amount of $3,000, recognizes work of high quality that
does not receive recognition through the usual channels.
Associate Professor Michael Eisenberg
was announced as a winner of the 2005
Boulder Faculty Assembly
Award for Excellence in Teaching.
The award, in the amount of $3,000, places an emphasis on
actual classroom teaching.
It is awarded based on testimonial letters from faculty and students,
faculty course questionnaire results and the candidate's curriculum vita.
